Her love for piercings started very early, her older sister had piercings and she found them fascinating. Selma got her first ear piercings when she was 10 years old and from then on she never stopped!
At 16, he got his first summer job at a tattoo studio, and it was then that he realized he wanted to work professionally with piercings.
Later, at the age of 18, Selma made the decision to abandon her university studies and finally continue her apprenticeship in a studio. This journey has led her to now be the proud owner of a piercing and jewelry store in Braga, Portugal (Golden Blood Piercing Fine Jewellery).

“I developed a passion for piercings from a young age, before I even fully understood them. At age 5, I asked my mother to do my first earlobe piercings and, at 12, I started to explore more about the industry.
Although life’s responsibilities often led me to consider working for others as the safest option, I have always believed that having your own business and doing what you love adds a special flavor to life.
At the beginning of 2023, I completed my training in body piercing, with a firm commitment to excel in the profession and to use the best and safest materials.”
Vera’s life motto is: “Luck requires a lot of work and I work a lot.”

I’m Filipa and I’ve been a professional piercer since 2018. I never imagined this would be my career path when I performed my very first piercing at the age of 11 years old. I always loved having my ears full of piercings but thought my body rejected all the piercings due to troublesome healings.
As a piercer, I invest a lot in my profession with personal growth, continuing in my education attending as many different conferences and workshops as I can.
In 2023 I opened my own shop, the first jewelry store exclusively for piercing in my town and today I’m able to help others with the trauma of previous piercings by using the best materials and implementing the safest piercing procedures in my practices.
My favorite type of work are ear styling and nipple piercings.
It makes me proud of myself to run with my passion and create beautiful artwork!
